Black Alps is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 whose main goal is the promotion of cybersecurity through the organization of Black Alps yearly conferences. The current committee is composed of Sylvain Pasini (president), Yohan Martini (treasurer), and Maude Schneider (secretary).
BlackAlps conferences are events enabling to discuss the latest threats, mitigations and advances in cyber security. The event features cyber security experts from Switzerland and abroad. It is addressed to anyone with an interest in cybersecurity or connected to the internet, e.g., CEOs, CIOs, CISO, CTOs, developers, and researchers.
One, or maybe two, events are planned for 2022.
We will adapt the event(s) by closely monitoring the sanitary situation and OFSP guidances.
Due to the sanitary situation, the Black Alps committee decided to organize a special summer edition around a barbecue. Indeed, we are a community event and we think our added value is to gather the community by creating crucial in-person interactions. The event took place on Thursday 23rd of Septembre 2021 in Cheyres (close to Yverdon-les-Bains). It was a special edition with short talks and a barbecue-dinner. It attracted 150 participants, which was our limit.
